Mondo Guerra designs eyewear collection for SEE

Denver fashion designer Mondo Guerra is known for his quirky and distinctive wardrobe, which is full of skinny suits, bow ties and colorful eyewear.

Mondo, who is nearsighted and has worn glasses since he was in middle school, started visiting the local SEE Eyewear boutique about the time his profile was rising as a contestant on the reality-TV fashion competition “Project Runway” in 2010. His even higher visiblity after winning the “All-Stars” version of the show in 2012 finds the designer collaborating on an eyewear collection with SEE.

Launched earlier this week at SEE’s Denver store and 30 additional locations nationwide, the Mondo collection of 11 ophthalmic frames and six sunglass styles is bold and expressive.
